  2. Showcase of pupils’ work to others so as to cultivate interest in reading and Chinese Language
  3. To provide opportunities and training for students to develop leadership qualities and skills.
About the CCA
The CL reading started in 2007 to promote reading of Chinese language books. Our members consist of pupils from P1-P6. Members get together weekly and teachers share with them award-winning picture books through guided reading. Members review the books in the forms of oral presentation, small books, powerpoint slides, and art works creation using Paint software. To expose members to different types of literacy works, they are also trained to recite Poems and “San Zi Jing”(Three-Character-Classic). Pupils are also given opportunities to showcase their talents (story-telling / poem recitation) during pre-assembly.
